Realistic Fake Dome Security Camera

Sometimes you do not need a real camera to scare off the thieves and the bad guys. These fake dome-type security cameras look like the real thing. No criminal likes to get caught in the act on camera, and when they think cameras are present, they will most likely move on to somewhere else. Fake cameras are therefore a great deterrent to crime.

These dummy cameras have a 3.5 inch clear dome on a 4.5 inch black base with what looks like a camera lens mounted inside. There is also a flashing LED sensor that can be turned off an on by pressing on the dome. The LED is motion activated by a sensor and will flash for approximately one minute when it is triggered. The flashing light will draw attention to the camera, especially when it catches a thief sneaking up to your home's entry in the dark. With this model you have to get pretty close to the fake camera in order to trigger the flashing LED. it is also triggered by the use of a flashlight or any light source anywhere near the unit at night.

Where would you use dummy cameras? A good place would be on the outside near the front and rear entries to your home, or in several rooms inside your home or office. If you have a small shop or storefront and cannot afford a real security camera system, your could place several dummy cameras that appear to be watching the cash register areas or monitoring shopping isles. Ideally, you should plan on locating the cameras out of direct sun or weather and in a location where thieves cannot easily reach a dummy camera.
