Hand Crank LED Flashlight - Cell Phone Charger

Never worry about your flashlight batteries running low again. We tested several hand crank emergency LED flashlights and found all of them to be disappointing except for one, and that is the one we bought. The Campo self-charging flashlight uses a hand crank generator to charge its internal battery.

This emergency LED flashlight is perfect for the car (we keep one in each vehicle), for camping, hiking, boating, fishing, or just about any sport or activity. Keep several around the house for emergencies. The Campo is very compact and is about the size of a pack of cigarettes (3.5" x 2.25" x 1.25"). It fits easily in a pocket, glove compartment, backpack, tool box or tackle box.

The handle flips out and the unit cranks easily. 1 minute worth of cranking gives you about 15 to 20 minutes of bright light from the 5 LED array. The best part is that it stays charged while others that we tested drained off. We let the Campo LED flashlight sit for two weeks without cranking it up again and it was still just as bright as the last time we used it.

The 5 LED array is controlled by three switches on the top. Two of the switches each control two of the super bright white LEDs. The third operates a green LED. You can easily control the brightness by using the switches. The green LED is particularly useful for hikers and hunters because green light is less disturbing to wildlife.

This emergency flashlight is available in black or a camouflage pattern. The black units are real nice for around the home or in the car. Campers and hunters will appreciate the camo-colored version. The black version is branded with manufacturer's name, while the camouflaged model is not.

No home emergency or survival kit should be without this hand-crank flashlight. It also serves as a cell phone charger and comes complete with adapters to charge several types of cell phones, including the Ericsson T28, Motorola V60 Series, Samsung A300 Series, Siemens C35 Series and Nokia models. Never run out of cell phone power when an emergency hits your area and the power is out. If you use one of these phones, just plug in the correct adapter and start cranking to generate the juice your cell phone needs. 3 minutes of crank charging should provide 2 to 8 minutes of talking time for your cell phone.
