The Drinkwell Platinum Pet Drinking Fountain is built for cats and small to medium size dogs. This unit has a 168 ounce capacity in a transparent reservoir. Rubber feet prevent the Drinkwell Big-Dog Fountain from sliding on your floor.

Veterinarian Mary Burns DVM is the inventor of the patented Drinkwell Pet Fountains. Falling water adds oxygen to the water for freshness and the replaceable coconut shell charcoal filters remove debris, bad taste and odors. The unit is powered by a 12 volt low-voltage AC power supply (included) that plugs into the wall. The cord detaches for easy cleaning. The unit also has a dishwasher safe reservoir.

The Platinum model comes with one (1) Premium Replacement Filter. Both Original Replacement Filters and Premium Replacement Filters work with your Platinum Pet Fountain. The filter should be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks, so make sure that you have extra filters on hand. The Drinkwell Aqua Garden accessory (sold separately) is available for the Platinum model. Cats consider the 100% organic wheat grass to be a delicacy. The Aqua Garden turns the Platinum model into a hydroponic garden of treats for your favorite feline.
